Chart your Course to Service Learning: Navigating a Successful Project

The goal of this workshop is to organize and develop service-learning projects for implementation in courses.  Faculty will storyboard and brainstorm project ideas within specific disciplines. The key takeaway for faculty will be a tangible design for three of the six tenets for service learning – investigate, prepare, and act. This workshop will assist with creating a service learning experience from a seemingly problematic course, the community partner’s need is clearly identified, the program goals are measurable, and provide meaningful service to the community.
