Strengths

  • The speaker was very outgoing and engaged the audience.
  • Examples of student behavior that may need to be helped.
  • The presenter was a very good speaker
  • Dr. Reese gave real life, relateable situations. This was a reminder to treat others mindfully, being aware that each of us may be experiencing some sort of challenge. The strength of the workshop was to express concern for others but not from a nosy neighbor way.

  • Presentation was informative; speaker had good command of subject matter.
  • excellent examples
  • Dr. Chip Reese was a fine speaker with excellent technique and diction unlike some we have had in the past. I have heard that that the female plenary speaker was not as effective or well-prepared. I did not choose to attend her after lunch presentation.

Suggestions

  • We may want to think about having this type of topic at a different time other than the last session on the last day. I think a lot more people would have attended.
