Get HIP to Teach!

In this interactive session, participants will examine a curricular model framed by the eight high impact practice (HIP) quality dimensions identified by Kuh and O’Donnell (2013). This model can be used as a structural guide for curriculum creation or revision to incorporate teaching strategies essential for ensuring quality within all HIP offerings into any course--HIP or not--to create more engaging teaching and learning experiences. Participants of this session will be engaged in discussion, as well as in activities using resources from the HIP curricular model to contemplate iterations that might be used within their own classrooms.
