The Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Research, as a part of its “Link the Learning to Life” series, presents this session on understanding what it means to be an accredited institution, how to maintain the accreditation, and the impact of losing accreditation. This workshop will review the standards as prescribed by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools-Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), which is the accrediting agency of Southwest Tennessee Community College. This thought-provoking, action-oriented session will inspire attendees to actively become involved in maintaining the College’s accreditation.
